Pecker
Aroview: Edward Furlong is niftily cast as Pecker, an innocent teen amateur photographer who unwittingly becomes the toast of the art world, thereby inviting the trappings of fame on himself and his modest Baltimore community.
A celebration of naivety from the one-time 'pope of trash', this is more like his last effort, SERIAL MOM, where the satire is obvious and the comedy often ham-fisted, but indulged with so much unpretentious, seat-of-the-pants fun, to be taken seriously seems almost beside the point. Besides, you'll never think of teabags in quite the same way again!
