Aroview: Light yet insightful lampoon of the acting/modelling industry from the director of LIVING IN OBLIVION nicely captures (and skewers) the hollowness of media image-making, with out-of-work actor Matthew Modine having to 'lower his ideals' after his pal secures a lucrative part in a soap opera. His escalating predicament notches up quite a few cruel laughs, as does his girlfriend Catherine Keener (superb as always).
