3 stars (Good Enough) Great cast and I love the framing device, but I never really fell for any of the characters. At the end of the day, this feels like a "next step" noir. That said, the diner scene and the boxing sequence are flawless. ~Pop&Coffee
4 stars (Very Good) A brooding and masterful piece of noir. The flashbacks are a really deft touch and the twists and turns deeply satisfying. ~BabyJane
