Hang the DJ
Aroview: An energetic, globe-trotting spin through the nineties club culture phenomenon, taking in a whistle-stop tour of the various DJ and dance subgenres and their origins. DJ superstars like Junior Vasquez, Roger Sanchez, Carl Cox and Q-Bert rave about their trade secrets and share in the central debate with up-and-coming 'turntablists', commentators and clubbers as to whether DJ's are artists. A good nutshell for the initiated, and worth a squizz for old-fashioned rock types keen to see what all the fuss is about.

5 stars (Exceptional) Great movie. Some inside glamor from the Sound Factory club in NY where JVasquez played, & later on DTenaglia took over. This isnt the main topic of the movie but its there, amongst other interesting things woven in - also features RSanchez. JC 2012 ~DJamesChesterman-JimmyBlunt
