Shanghai Noon
Aroview: Jackie Chan pilots for this lightweight, crowd-pleasing throwback to the Wild West that adds his brand of naïve Eastern exotism to the ol' cowboy cliches.
His Hollywood opposite this time is the comically-gifted Owen Wilson, who pretty much steals/saves the show as the kind of charming rogue the West ain't seen since Robert Redford threw down his 'Sundance' stetson.

3 stars (Good Enough) An irresistibly fun Western comedy with unwitting pair Chan and Wilson rescuing a princess amidst other misadventures. Owen Wilson at his charming best. ~Tom H
2 stars (Good Try) The first half when Jackie is on his own is much the strongest. ~Tubbs
