Hollow Man
Aroview: Unpleasant, one-dimensional sci-fi thriller that lavishes astonishing, groundbreaking special effects on a script that doesn't deserve it. Mad-scientist-with-a-god-complex Kevin Bacon becomes the 'invisible man' without a return ticket, and thus indulges his perverted streak before descending into a psychotic rampage. Elisabeth Shue and Josh Brolin are hardly more sympathetic in support.

1 star (Turkey) Interesting premise and state-of-the-art special effects aren't enough to save the pathetic script, poor dialogue, or any part of the film. ~Tom H
2 stars (Good Try) The special effects are extremely well done but the story which starts out well gets unnecessarily sleazy in parts & detracts from the Sci-fi. ~Tubbs
4 stars (Very Good) Paul Verhoeven's most underrated film about the invisible man ~Wyatt Earp
