Aroview: Thoughtful story of the destructively possessive relationship between Ludwig Von Beethoven and his nephew, leading to humiliation and tragedy.

Takes some liberties with the truth, but regardless Reichmann's performance is excellent as the irascible composer.

I find this review offensive! I don’t agree with this review. I agree with this review.
3 stars (Good Enough) portrays the uncle as furious and tyrannical, obsessed and insanely jealous. Even though the film elicits a deep sympathy for his torment, it concentrates too much on only one aspect of his life – not surprisingly, given its plot being based on novels. ~JohnSpecialK
