Aroview: TV's favourite female crimefighters get the big screen makeover. Not quite the phenomenon that were Farrah and co., contemporary imposters Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu are assigned to a kidnapping case that even threatens to engulf their mysterioso boss, Charlie. Butt-kickin' 'stylish' action sequences are its stock-in-trade, female cockiness and retro-parody are its gimmicks, though unfortunately for feminism, Bill Murray as Bosley damn near steals the show.
