Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
Aroview: The profane, less-than-dynamic duo that appeared in all of dir. Kevin Smith’s previous films get their own feature - a road movie with dick, fart, gay and movie jokes, cannibalized from Smith’s own junk-culture catalogue and referencing just about every other movie you’ve ever seen.
Almost offensively post-modern, self-indulgent and foul-mouthed, but charismatic and well-executed enough to be a lot funnier than it deserves. Stars Jason Mewes and Smith himself, and featuring cameos from ALL of Kevin’s acting alumni - Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Jason Lee, etc. – and seemingly half of current Hollywood.

2 stars (Good Try) Very self-indulgent but enjoyable for the many cameos. ~dr.strangelove
2 stars (Good Try) The clerks/dogma boys are back, as well as a huge cast, in this comedy for those with the particular stomach for the nature of jokes that spew forth with little real thought. ~Tom H
2 stars (Good Try) It's bad. It has a few good jokes, but is held together by an uninspired stoner road trip comedy. Even as much as I love the View Askewniverse and its characters I can't bring myself to really like this, outside of a few great moments. ~Sevenhead
1 star (Turkey) A silent Jay would have helped. ~Tubbs
