Aroview: Discovering that children’s screams can be converted into an energy source (‘Scream Heat’), monsters lurk in their closets to feed the power-grid of ‘Monstropolis’, in another flawless Pixar CGI animation.
Only trouble for the monsters is that today’s jaded tots can’t be scared anymore, so Sully and Mike (voices by John Goodman and Billy Crystal) set out to turn up the juice, though another twist reveals that funnily enough monsters are also scared of kids!

5 stars (Exceptional) My favorite Pixar movie. ~dr.strangelove
5 stars (Exceptional) A wonderful concept that gets the chance to prove itself not just as a skilfully animated film, but also a touching and thoughtful, thoroughly imaginative fantasy world. One of the best in recent years. ~Tom H
3 stars (Good Enough) Another magical world dreamed up by Pixar, this time of the most lovable monsters you're ever likely to encounter. A real adventure that will capture the imagination. ~GenXGirl
4 stars (Very Good) It has a good plot idea but its strength is in the wonderful odd looking characters. ~Tubbs
