High Crimes
Aroview: Ashley Judd is a little confused when ex-Army hubby Jim Caviezel is arrested for massacres in Latin America under a different name.
Soon she enlists maverick-lawyer Morgan Freeman to defend him in a case of “what really happened?” Highly competent, yet, star-charisma and nicely-executed plot-twists aside, just another middling entry in the over-represented genre.

2 stars (Good Try) The plot is not convincing - Ashley is fine but what makes the film watchable is the impressive (again) Morgan Freeman. ~Tubbs
2 stars (Good Try) Meh, should be tried for implausibility and deus ex machina. A good cast, especially Freeman and Adam Scott, but any other Carl Franklin film would be preferable. ~HiFi
