Aroview: Judging by the title this makes a bid in the horror franchise stakes, but death-by-chainsaw just never quite caught the teenage imagination, and could never be quite reconciled with mainstream censorship requirements. An 'update' of the original rather than a sequel, it's no disgrace, but adds nothing to its own folklore.
