Genres: Science Fiction
Aroview: The second series is probably the strongest, getting a real kick from Scully's abduction by aliens in the 2 parter Duane Barry/ Ascension early in the series, and strongly integrating the conspiracy and mythology themes alongside strong individual investigation episodes like "The Host" (with Flukey the man-sized flukeworm), "Sleepless" and "Humbug" (the first comedy episode).
