Aroview: A unique ‘concept ballet’, where a revolving cast of dancers wordlessly act out the 20th century history of France in a ballroom.

As they go through the rituals of life, the dynamics of the cast (played by Le Troupe du Theatre du Campagnol), begin to shadow wider political events, slowly building a compelling allegory out of the minimal resources of the setting. Not for all intellectual tastes, but a strong, well-crafted idea all the same. Choreography by D’Dee and Jacques Bense.
