With some great f/x from dir. Trumbull and a plot that embraces the sexual, moral and military implications of the technology, this is rather a crazed ride.

2 stars (Good Try) A very good plot idea but parts of the screenplay are a bit dated 35 years on. ~Tubbs
3 stars (Good Enough) Notable as Natalie Wood's last film (she died in mysterious circumstances before it wrapped). That, and Trumbull's ambitious technical innovations, mean it is remarkable it was completed! ~EdMorbius
