Aroview: A subtle French comedy of manners, that strews an array of matched, mismatched and all quite droll characters into a satisfying treat for the comic tastebuds.

Centred principally around a businessman and his bodyguard, both deep in midlife crisis mode and the various flighty women who intrigue and attract them. Perceptively capturing the friction and attraction that take place across the divides of lifestyle, class and ‘taste’ this is all the more impressive for its tolerant, clear-eyed perspective.

Written by husband-wife acting team Jaoui and Bacri, and a notable directing debut for the female half.
