Aroview: Furiously hyped retread of THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS, with undercover cop Paul Walker seeking to redeem himself by infiltrating the street racing scene in Miami.

Aside from its surplus of flash cars and a number of brawny chase sequences, this misses the ambiguous charisma of Vin Diesel and the tense slickness of the original director. Will, however provide some popcorn distraction or petrolhead inspiration, depending on your make and model.

1 star (Turkey) Pointless 2nd instalment moves setting, and just as Miami is a less interesting city than LA, this film is dull by comparison to the 1st. Bland performances and the excessive CG in the car races irritates. It's your old-fashioned cheap, rubbishy sequel. ~SteveParkes
