Aroview: An enjoyable 'noir' yarn, based on the true story of a man unjustly imprisoned for the murder of a policeman in 1930s Chicago.

Jimmie Stewart plays a cynical reporter who is initially suspicious about the case, but becomes a determined advocate of the man's innocence. Told in a watchable, flowing style, while the use of many of the original locales adds a touch of grittiness.
