Through voiceover and flashback, she reflects on her romantic history and its implications, serving as a provocative tract on the institution of marriage and the alternative of ‘free love’. Imaginatively shot and directed by renowned cinematographer Jack Cardiff, the open roads and European interiors are distinctly 'continental cool'.

2 stars (Good Try) Enjoyable Eurotrash. The constant narration is awful... or perhaps wonderful? Or else play it with the sound off while listening to some good records. A daffy performance from Faithful, but she wins you over and so does the scenery. ~Toby Dammit
