Visually lavish, this was a box-office smash in its native France, though has had a mixed reception elsewhere, due to its idiosyncratic dubbing and reliance on broad comedy. In this tale, the duo take on the might of Julius Caesar's legions with their super-magic-potion and Gallic wit.
