Adding a cerebral, darkly comic edge to his pop lyrics made Zevon one of the best, if underrated rockers of the 1980s and 90s. Guest appearances include Ry Cooder, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, Jackson Browne and Billy Bob Thornten.
