Versus
Aroview: The zombie genre is resurrected yet again, here spliced with Asian combat routines and punk-gangster gunplay, and set in the local woods on an obviously low budget.
Self-produced by an apparently tireless writer-director, he mounts fight scene upon fight scene for his pretty but vacant hero with only small variations of creative carnage and daft humour. Benefits from a decent sound mix and gets a good bang for its buck in the action department, but it exhausts its ideas in the first act, and like its zombies, eventually the film itself just plain refuses to die.

3 stars (Good Enough) Ridiculous zombie/splatter film which seriously swings between 1-star and 5-star for sheer ludicrous one-liner dialogue and B-grade splatter. If you like your action stylish, bloody, and silly, then look no further. ~Tom H
2 stars (Good Try) It just needed a bit of originality. ~Tubbs
