Aroview: One of the biggest hits of recent Greek cinema, this is a lavish parody of 1960s Greek movie melodramas, mixing musical, comedy and suspense into a unique dish.

Set around the long-simmering tensions between two families which come to the fore with an inconvenient love affair, this segues into a historical backstory that stretches back to WW2. Expensively made, with some lavish reconstructions of the past, though its humour (and heart) is appealingly populist.
