Decasia: The State of Decay

Aroview: Highly original experimental film that achieves a stunning aesthetic and haunting visual poetry by compiling an array of found archival film footage that has suffered partial deterioration.

Only partially succeeds in creating some kind of narrative, and the dissonant score is more overtly distracting when viewed on the small screen, but there is a considerable power in the images themselves, which are, dare we say, strong enough to invite an alternative melancholy accompaniment.
