Aroview: Tense and original drama has a young Jewish couple (Lambert and Delpy) escaping the Warsaw massacre in 1943, by hiding with an older woman (Schygulla) in the Nazi army quarters. Lambert conducts a mock affair with Schygulla to evade attention, and the trio begin to become trapped in an emotional triangle.
