Aroview: Robert Duvall is successfully cast as the manager of a minor Scottish soccor team, which has been bought and remodeled by an American owner.

Introducing an aging marquee player to the lineup, the Kilnockie team begin to win matches, but face the prospect of being transplanted to Dublin if they win their league. Using a top cast, stark landscapes and dense local detail, this manages to overcome most of the 'underdog' cliches it evokes.
