Along Came Polly
Aroview: A control-freak meets chaos-personified in a NYC comedy that, while utterly familiar, cannot fail due to its stars and overall polish.
Stiller plays an insurance 'risk-analyst' who falls in love with Anniston, an extroverted traveller, who drags him on a ride through the riskiest entertainments and, er... restaurants in the Big Apple. Guiding itself between 'romcom' cliche and the occasional gross-out setpiece, this provides a reasonable continuation of all the other Stiller comedies (the dir. even scripted MEET THE PARENTS).

2 stars (Good Try) Mediocre romantic comedy ~dr.strangelove
2 stars (Good Try) The material is ordinary but there are some better bits around Hoffman whom we could have done with more of and a bit less of some of the others. ~Tubbs
