Aroview: Quality fluff, with Bosworth playing a smalltown girl who wins the titular date, expecting a one-off evening, but gaining an ardent admirer.

Set in a kind of 1950s All-American bubble, this smoothly glides through the comedy as romantic competition ignites and showbiz is gently satirized. Charming enough overall to spend at least an evening with.
