I, Robot
Aroview: Standard model adaptation of Isaac Asimov's 1950s sci-fi speculations about the dystopian possibilities of a robot-riddled future.
Smith plays a Chicago detective in 2035 who has his suspicions about the proliferating, seemingly benign tin-men, but is told to "let it go" by superiors. Of course, before long, newly advanced robots begin to find ways around the '3 Laws of Robotics' designed to protect their human creators. Filled with proficient action scenes and smart design, yet finally lacking the intellectual ambition that might have distinguished it.
