Aroview: An unusually comedic Bollywood musical, sees a smalltime gangster staging an elaborate deception to prove to his straight-laced father that, in fact, he is a respectable doctor.

However, when his charade collapses and with it the prospect of a much-desired arranged marriage he hits the school-books, determined to have romantic consummation. Although musically this is rather average, its blend of poignant moments and perfectly timed comic exchanges is a pleasure.
