Desperate Man Blues

Aroview: Record collector Joe Bussard has been tracking down and preserving rare 'roots' 78rpm discs from his Maryland home for over 40 years.

Amassing a library of over 25,000 records, he here expresses his boundless enthusiasm for "the last good music" - blues, hillbilly, early jazz and other American folk-styles of the 1920s and 30s - while chomping on Havana cigars in his basement den, recounting interesting yarns.

This DVD also contains audio of several tracks and a rare clip of bluesman Son House.
