Aroview: A highly polished, somewhat revolutionary sitcom following the career path and domestic life of a determinedly single newsroom journalist, this made a household name of Ms. Tyler Moore and created several spin-off shows for its popular supporting cast.

Created by James L. Brooks (Taxi, The Simpsons), this chimed with the women's liberation movement of the time to become one of the defining shows of its era, and a blueprint for the many similar shows that followed.
