Aroview: Horror-writer Stephen King expands his King-dom with a solid adaptation of dir. Lars von Trier's celebrated Danish TV series "The Kingdom", about a hospital built over a swamp teeming with malevolent spirits.

Paring down the satirical subplots of von Trier's version, this grafts on many of King's own authorial obsessions and character-types, creating a smoothly-unfolding ride as various heroic and stressed doctors grapple with the ghosts of the Civil War-era. Note: combines the storylines from both of the original series.
