Prey For Rock n Roll

Aroview: Gina Gershon puts her all into a role playing an aging rock-singer who must decide whether to continue pursuing the dream after her 40th birthday.

Based on a musical written by Cheryl Lovedog of the minor LA punk band 'Lovedog' this bashes out a number of authentic chords before getting lost in some rather traditional bohemian melodrama. Has a nice arse-kicking veracity about certain scenes, but like the mid-80s indie punk music played by Gershon's band, it's a tune we've heard many times before.
