Relative Evil

Aroview: Deceptively marketed as a kind of "wicked stepmother" thriller, this is instead a well-constructed, paranoid black comedy about a teenage alcoholic who returns from a rehab clinic to his screwed-up friends and family.

Played pretty sober yet oddly counterpointed by a playful score that signals it as satire, this is serious in message and its determination to keep the disturbing behaviour from going off the boil.
