Prodigal Son, The

Aroview: One of the all-time great kung fu features, has a young man (Biao) pursue the martial arts, but eventually discovering that his rich father has arranged for all his opponents to lose to him.

Stung by pride, he becomes apprentice to the one opponent who refused to be bribed, joining a travelling opera group and getting mixed up with various dramas. Realism is uppermost in the fight scenes (apart from the sound f/x), earning this film its high reputation.
