Pursued

Aroview: This moody western is one of the best Mitchum performances, in a film famous for it's unusual (at the time) use of Freudian psychology. A nightmarish film noir scenario involving convoluted urges for revenge is lifted by excellent James Wong Howe cinematography and typically pacy Walsh direction.
