Aroview: A Mexican maid (Vega) is inducted into the Bel Air household of a celebrity chef (Sandler) and his dysfunctional family, in this cheerfully sour cross-cultural dramedy from dir. Brooks.

Reacting against the unhinged shenanigans of his wife (Leoni), maid and employer drift closer together, in a sitcom-like setup that grows with its characters and maintains a quirkier side. Like his other comedies. dir. Brooks (AS GOOD AS IT GETS) maintains his genteel sensitivity throughout. Not perfect, but crafted with contagious affection.
