Naked Bunyip, The
Aroview: A ground-breaking cult in Australia, this explored the world and taboos of sexuality with unprecendented candour and a generous dose of humour.
Blundell plays a retiring market-researcher who is instructed to survey every aspect of sex in the nation - tranvestism, nudity, prostitution, censorship, strip clubs, homosexuality, sex therapy - in a freewheeling manner than anticipates the other '70s Ocker sex comedies. Cameos include Dame Edna Everage and morals-campaigner Malcolm Muggeridge.
At the time, this was heavily cut, each deletion signified by bleeping and superimposed 'bunyips'. This DVD edition includes all originally banned footage.
