Anything Else
Aroview: Woody Allen returns to his home turf tracking the urban mores of various Manhattan-ites, in a fairly slight comic venture which follows the temptations of a jaded television writer Biggs for an obsessive and fickle actress, Ricci.
Guiding Biggs' through his 20-something crisis is Allen himself, in the garb of a lifeworn self-philosophiser with theories and advice on everything. Not exactly cutting-edge, but as usual the dialogue succeeds in evoking many a sly chuckle.
