Aroview: The escapades of John Mannering, aka "The Baron", a Texan-born ranch owner based in London, once a thief, but now reformed as an operative for British intelligence with an antique dealership providing the perfect cover.

With its hero Americanized for commercial reasons from the very British novels by John Creasey, this high-gloss action series had enjoyably implausible plots, usually involving priceless antiques and jewels as well as stalwarts like drug-smuggling, imposters and mob-like racketeers.
