Diamond of Jeru

Aroview: Solid telemovie in the action-adventure mould, with Zane playing a scientist who journeys up a river in Borneo with his wife in the hunt for diamonds in the 1950s.

Although lacking the budget necessary to convincingly bring off the 'Indiana Jones'-type thrills it aspires to, this moves along at a fair clip and the jungle antics have their sweaty moments. Based on a book by the famed pulp novelist Louis L'Amour.
