Aroview: A gritty fact-based policier about a cold-blooded land baron in 1940s rural Georgia (Griffiths) who murders a black tenant farmer and burns his body, arrogantly thinking his actions are well above the law.
Unfortunately he committed his crime in Coweta County, the jurisdiction of sherrif Johnny Cash, who doggedly pursues the murderer. With excellent performances from Griffiths and Cash, this has a dense edginess which transcends the usual made-for-TV limitiations.
