Quirk bunny Zooey Deschanel (WEEDS, HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY) plays the bored twenty-something 'DG' (as in, Dorothy Gale), and a bunch of Baum-derived misfits accompany her around the post-apocalyptic O.Z. (Outer Zone). Dark and manky and Bladerunner-ish - and not at all camp or cutesy - this sci-fi Wiz is concept-heavy fare, best ordered up by post-Matrix, post-X-Files - even post-9/11 - audiences, rather than wee'uns.
