Aroview: A disturbing dalliance with her pet pooch comes back to bite a newly engaged woman in this disarmingly frank jewel of an indie rom-com that is certain to make hands cup mouths, if not eyes.
More than simply a romantic comedy spiced up by a titillating taboo, writer-director Goldthwaite mounts an incisive, often hilarious and surprisingly tender-hearted take on the consequences and value of honesty within intimate relationships. Despite no-frills production, the script and cast do the honours, with the radiant Page Hamilton surely destined for mainstream success.

2 stars (Good Try) I thought the male was a bit of a drip but there was at least an attempt in the screenplay to break the mold. Another plus is that it is not too long and doesn't overstay its welcome.~tubbs
