“Like Queen, Bohemian Rhapsody is three parts good but not terribly exciting, and one part absolute joyful, fabulous entertainment that makes you forget everything else around it. ”~Empire
Aroview: A stonking, irrepressibly popular chronicle of Freddie Mercury and the band Queen's ascension to popular music royalty through the years leading up to their legendary appearance at the 1985 Live Aid concert.
Though gun Kiwi screenwriter bends the facts for the sake of a good story (as he did for THE DARKEST HOUR), and it inevitably trots through the rock biopic cliches, this boasts a unique and sympathetic protagonist (played to pitch perfection by Rami Malik), and manages to consistently pay much more than lip service to the band's glorious musical legacy.

4 stars (Very Good) Probably not perfect but very entertaining. The recreation of Live Aid and the stand-ins for the band members were impressive. ~Tubbs
3 stars (Good Enough) 3/5 – if you have lived those times... ~Anonz
