“Energetically lurid, gratuitously violent and a hell of a lot of fun, horror-satire Assassination Nation is a throwback to black-comedy teen flicks of yore, but with a bitingly timely feel.”~Leslie Felperin, The Hollywood Reporter

Aroview: Stylish, witty and chaotic, this youth-centered thriller manages to blend exploitation and social commentary into something a bit derivative but endlessly fun. Four teenage girls find themselves fighting to survive an apocalyptic gender war in their home town after a computer hacker leaks salacious details of the residents' personal lives.

4 stars (Very Good) Don't allow 21stC teen social media froth deter you. This stylish deconstruction of small town Louisiana packs a helluva punch - the key. Clue is the town name - Salem, where 14 young women were hung in 1692 for "witchcraft". But Southern flavor here. ~Sandy
