2 stars (Good Try) The screenplay is not convincing and neither is the love affair on which it depends. ~Tubbs
1 star (Turkey) Joe Eszterhas gender-flipped this as Basic Instinct and both scripts are about as good as each other, which just shows what a phenomenal director Paul Verhoeven is because that one's great and this one's shit. ~Pearce
