Aroview: Dir. Linklater returns to his favourite milieu - the teen angst movie - only this time working from someone else's material, a play by Eric Bogosian (scribe and star of TALK RADIO) in which slackers loiter at a gas station carpark awaiting the return of a peer who's made it as a MOR rock star. These kids don't have any fun, and neither will you - it's condescending in tone, manipulative in plotting and a whole act too long.
