Aroview: Peter Sellers plays a con-man who escapes jail and must masquerade as a film-director, managing to pull off a major gold bullion heist.

Overall, this is a curious mixed-bag, mixing Italian exuberance and soul with Sellers own snide charms. Mostly panned on release, there are some high points, especially Mature in the humourous role of a rapidly fading screen idol.
